The 6-speed gearbox and Quickshifter+ allow the rider to maintain control in the midst of action and improve traction on the rear wheel. The KTM 690 ENDURO R is equipped with a ride-by-wire system that allows better throttle control and smooth riding.
Electronic fuel injection and engine management enable performance based on riding conditions. The trellis frame is made of lightweight sections of top-quality steel. The balanced frame design provides high torsional stiffness for the best maneuverability. The innovative use of the tank as the main structural element of the subframe keeps the weight low and eliminates design complexity.
The highly rigid forged triple clamps with a 24mm offset (adjustable to 22mm) provide solid grip on the forks for precise handling. They allow forward and backward adjustment of the handlebar in 4 different positions for optimal ergonomics.
Riding on rough terrain becomes easier thanks to the WP XPLOR 48 inverted fork. The design of the KTM 690 ENDURO R fork was developed by WP and KTM for EXC models. It has springs at both ends with separate damping functions - compression on the left and rebound on the right. The WP XPLOR shock absorber is connected to the swingarm. It ensures a progressive suspension character and is fully adjustable according to preferences and needs.
The wide 808 mm handlebar is lightweight and mounted to reduce vibrations. The shape and width of the handlebar are designed to contribute to maximum control in all conditions.
The sophisticated No Dirt footpegs prevent dirt and mud buildup when navigating wet terrain or among plant roots. Rubber inserts can be mounted for street use to reduce vibrations felt through the footpegs on smooth roads.
The seat has an ergonomic shape and a height of 910 mm. It offers good comfort and has a modern look, emphasized by the new durable and grippy orange cover.
