An Italian Setting Built for Adventure

After previous editions in Portugal and Romania, the 2026 KTM Europe Adventure Rally moves to central Italy, with the historic town of Gubbio, north of Perugia, serving as the event’s base. Steeped in history and surrounded by diverse terrain, Gubbio offers the perfect launch point for three days of riding that combine exploration, challenge, and camaraderie.

A total of 250 KTM riders will come together for this exclusive gathering, united by a shared passion for adventure motorcycles, discovery, and unforgettable riding moments.

Three Riding Days, Endless Variety

The rally features three full riding days, each built around different daily loops that return to base camp. Riders will navigate a carefully designed itinerary that showcases the best of Umbria:

Routes heading west toward the scenic surroundings of Lake Trasimeno

Longer southern loops following rolling hills and historic pathways linked to St. Francis of Assisi

Mountain stages crossing Monte Nerone and Monte Foce, delivering elevation, technical riding, and panoramic views

Distances range from approximately 150 km to 250 km per day, offering a balanced mix of endurance, scenery, and technical riding.

Routes for Every Skill Level

The KTM Europe Adventure Rally 2026 is designed to welcome riders of all experience levels. Each day offers three clearly defined route options, all pre-checked by KTM track managers:

Blue Route – Beginner-friendly, featuring well-prepared gravel roads and high accessibility

Red Route – Intermediate, with technical trails and challenging sections for confident riders

Black Route – Expert-level, including demanding enduro terrain and physically intense riding

Navigation is handled via GPS coordinates, delivering an authentic rally-style experience regardless of the route chosen.

More Than a Ride: The KTM Adventure Spirit

This event is about much more than riding kilometers. The KTM Europe Adventure Rally is built around community, shared experiences, and the joy of adventure riding. Riders can choose to follow GPS routes independently or join a guided group (limited availability). Each evening brings the group back together with videos, shared stories, entertainment, and KTM-style celebrations, culminating in a final-night party in Gubbio.

The focus is not on racing against the clock, but on connection, exploration, and making memories—all while enjoying the capabilities of KTM Adventure motorcycles across varied terrain and changing weather conditions.

Who Can Participate

The rally is exclusively open to riders on approved KTM Adventure and Enduro models, ranging from lightweight single-cylinder machines to flagship V-twin and V4-powered adventure bikes. All motorcycles must be road-legal, insured, and prepared for off-road riding, with a minimum fuel range of 200 km. Proper off-road riding gear, navigation equipment, and suitable tires are mandatory.

Base Camp in the Center of the Action

The official base camp will be located at Parcheggio Teatro Romano in Gubbio, acting as the central hub for paddock access, bike services, hospitality, rider support, and evening activities. From here, all daily routes begin and end, creating a true rally atmosphere throughout the event.

Road to Italy: Extend the Adventure

For riders looking to take the journey even further, the Road to Italy Tour offers a longer adventure leading into the rally itself. This extended experience travels through multiple iconic European regions before arriving in Gubbio, seamlessly connecting long-distance touring with the KTM Europe Adventure Rally.
